Power of attorney : to Diego and Pedro Jiménez de Enciso, 1596 July 8.

Document, dated July 8, 1596 in Cartagena de Yndias (Colombia), in which Andrés Jiménez de Enciso, legitimate son of Pedro Jimenez de Enciso and Ana de Santa Ana, grants power of attorney to his brothers Diego and Pedro Jiménez de Enciso, residents of Sevilla, to act on his behalf in claiming that portion of his deceased parents' estate which rightfully belongs to him. The power of attorney is executed and signed by royal clerk Francisco Lopez de Morales.
